Alaska Camping and Fishing Adventures was originally
established to offer an affordable and more unique Alaskan experience.
While we have grown over the years, we still prefer to keep our groups
small so we can offer individualized attention which is unmatched
anywhere else.
Owner/Guide Rick Serena was originally
born and raised in the Kenai Peninsula town of Soldotna. He spent his
summers fishing all of the rivers on the peninsula, not just the Kenai
River like everyone else. This has enabled Rick to provide a much richer
experience for his guests. Having a feeling for ALL of the rivers
enables his groups to learn many different techniques, different fishing
spots and catch more fish!!
During the off season Rick is very
active in the ice hockey community, where he coaches, referees and and
still plays. While he holds is Masters in Physical Therapy, he prefers
to spend his winters as a coach and professional referee.
